  • Overview and Responsibilities

    The Department Assistant will provide administrative support to the Nickelodeon scripted programming executive team.

    • Serves as main point of contact for the Current Programs Department, keeping lines of communication open between each executive in the department, all other internal departments, and external partners.
    • Maintains department organization by tracking projects in each stage of production, while coordinating with production teams during prep, shooting, and post production of series.
    • Answer phones, roll calls, and initiate conference call
    • Manage busy calendars; coordinate all meetings and set visit
    • Schedules and prepares for meetings by briefing attendees and providing relevant materials
    • Plans and makse all travel arrangements for business trip
    • Prepares monthly travel and expense report
    • Serves as gatekeeper for internal/external information, re-route key info through proper channel
    • Prepares decks and other presentations
    • Updates and distributes relevant charts
    • Manages department intern

    Basic Qualifications

    • 2+ years prior administrative experience in entertainment
    • Excellent organizational and written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient in Outlook, Power Point, and Excel

    Additional Qualifications

    • Able to perform efficiently, professionally, and amicably under stress and deadlines
