  • Overview and Responsibilities

    This position is responsible for providing a high level of support to the Worldwide Home Entertainment & TV Licensing Publicity team.

    • Manage mailing and fulfillment of publicity materials, including product for press, cast/crew and media promotions
    • Support conferences, trade shows and sales meetings including travel logistics – rooming lists, flight and transportation tracking; supplies, catering, meeting schedules, budgets, reservations and additional logistics
    • Research and manage orders of promotional items and client gifts
    • Maintain budgets and track expenses
    • Attend and participate in weekly PR team meetings
    • Conduct research as directed and prepare reports for publicity campaigns
    • Monitor newspapers, magazines, industry trade publications, and key online sites, to track coverage, keep current on industry issues and provide summaries/clips for the various teams
    • Monitor social media for talent posts relevant to current campaigns and compile results
    • Distribute requests from press outlets to appropriate publicist
    • Help coordinate schedules for event logistics including guest lists, RSVP line, staffing, etc.
    • Provide on-site support at publicity events and trade shows as needed
    • Input invoices into SAP
    • Update and maintain media lists
    • Conduct supplemental press outreach

    Basic Qualifications

    • 1+ years' entertainment publicity experience in a motion picture studio, agency or publicity firm 
    • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred OR equivalent experience
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Additional Qualifications

    • SAP proficiency preferred
