  • Overview and Responsibilities

    The Finance Coordinator is responsible for supporting the SVP, Production Finance with feature productions in the pre-greenlight process as well as prep, production and post-production stages. This role will work specifically with the Paramount TV business.


    Banking and G&L Tracking responsibilities: 

    • Set up and monitor bank accounts
    • Coordinate accounting systems
    • Monitor 3rd party billing and receipts
    • Set up vendor accounts

    Reporting & Critical Review:

    • Prepare executive management reports for upper management
    • Assist with production incentive tracking and data analysis

    General Responsibilities:

    • Manage user access to accounting systems
    • Assist with management of production accounting teams
    • Process accounts payable and payroll
    • Manage production accounting file retention
    • Answer calls for senior staff and assist with administrative duties as needed

    Basic Qualifications

    • 1+ years' finance/accounting related experience (including internships)
    • Knowledge and experience using accounting software such as VISTA, PSL, SAP, PCS, Movie Magic
    • Basic knowledge of accounting terminology (e.g. Debits, Credits, Trial Balance)
    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field

    Additional Qualifications

    • Knowledge and experience of payroll processing, banking systems and/or booking journal entries is ideal
    • Basic knowledge of film production terminology desired but not required
