  • Overview and Responsibilities

    The Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing will play a key role in the development and management of social media campaigns to drive awareness and engagement of Paramount's domestic theatrical releases. This position will work with the broader Digital Marketing team to help develop, implement and track social media campaigns. Responsibilities to include:

    • Ensure movie has a clear voice and presence on all channels with activity tailored to the specifics of each environment
    • Oversee content uploads and fan acquisition to all relevant social properties
    • Work with digital marketing team to devise strategies for the continual growth of fanbases and generation of social conversation
    • Oversee the creation of all current and emerging social channels for film’s during theatrical window
    • Generate copy and content for regular communications to film channels
    • Oversee the updating of marketing assets including relevant banners and visual creative on relevant social properties
    • Assist and advise marketing managers in the optimization of social media campaigns
    • Work with the creative team to develop new and innovative ways to engage and spread the reach of online fans
    • Liaise with talent management, in some instances, to ensure content and marketing posts in a timely fashion across talent pages
    • Provide reporting in all relevant campaign meetings on the growth of fanbases, videos and online traction specific to individual environments and the social campaign as a whole.
    • Work with PR and production team to manage communications around film campaigns
    • Attend events for social capture (live/curated)
    • Proactively take initiative to improve social media community engagement and processes to scale with product and company goals.

    Basic Qualifications

    • 3+ years' experience in a social media and/or digital focused role with direct responsibility in the development, copywriting, and execution of social campaigns from the ground up
    • Thorough understanding of all relevant social media platforms with clear knowledge on how to use their functionality to generate visibility and stimulate fan interaction
    • Proven ability to write engaging copy tailored to each platform in a number of different styles and tones
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Knowledge and enthusiasm around the film industry
    • Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent experience
