Senior Financial Analyst - Financial Reporting, TV Production

Overview and Responsibilities




This position is responsible for various accounting and financial reporting duties supporting the Paramount Television division that produces television content on various platforms.


Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

* Performs reconciliation of balance sheet accounts including applicable roll-forward schedules

* Prepare quarterly balance sheet decks and supporting schedules

* Assist with preparation of flow sheets based on ultimates

* Contract review and deal analysis

* Perform revenue cycle duties; including but not limited to billing, collections, cash application

* Prepare monthly/quarterly journal entries for P&L and B/S

* Reconcile sub ledger; sub systems; and control accounts

* Provide monthly actuals reporting to Corporate Planning group

* Assist with audit requests

* Ad hoc projects and reporting

Basic Qualifications


* Minimum 3-4 years of related experience

* Knowledge of financial analysis, US GAAP

* Experience with SAP Financials



Additional Qualifications

Desired Qualifications:

* CPA or CPA in progress

* Entertainment industry experience, preferably TV

* Ability to prioritize a high volume workload

* Self-starter with ability to proactively identify issues and propose resolutions

* Strong attention to detail and results driven work ethic

* Strong oral and written communication skills

* Ability to research and apply advanced financial and accounting concepts

* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently and meet strict deadlines
