    This position is responsible for maintaining the highest quality standards and performing various automation implementation and maintenance.

     

    Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

    • Work closely with Client Services and Distribution staff to satisfy client’s needs
    • Complete work assignments in a timely and accurate manner
    • Create operations toolsets for automation
    • Program in C# for all automated workflows
    • Program in various languages, such as C#, HTML 5, Java Script
    • Verification of automated asset reports
    • Automated compliance checks against client specification
    • Automate metadata entry for asset ingest into archive system

    Basic Qualifications

    • 2+ years experience in various programming languages and scripting.
    • Familiarity with the following coding languages: C#, C++, HTML 5, Pearl, API commands
    • Familiarity with the following subtitle formats, SRT, CAP, SCC, Lamda CAP, Rhozet, FCP Image Based subs, STL, SMPTE TT, TTML.
    • Familiarity with the following video codecs: MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, WM9, QuickTime, ProRes, H.264.
    • Familiarity with the following audio codecs: WMA, AAC, MP3, MPEG, AC-3
    • Familiarity with the following uncompressed digital formats: AVI, YUV, TARGA, TIFF, BMP, WAV, AIF

    Additional Qualifications

    Desired skills:

    • Knowledge of various database types
    • Knowledge of digital content creation workflows, processes, techniques, and distribution processes
    • Knowledge of subtitle formats and limitations (Character and language limitations)
    • Strong oral and written communication skills are required to effectively communicate with Company personnel and outside parties
    • Detail and Process oriented
    • General understanding of Digital Workflows and related Media Management
    • Subtitling software (Mac Captions, Lemony, Wincaps)
    • Familiarity with subtitle formats (SRT, CAP, SCC, Lamda, CAP, Rhozet/FCP image based, STL)
    • MAC & PC Operating Systems, MS Office programs
